I plan to make a 416 out of my 98c. But just as a heads up, don't expect this to look exactly like the real steel, because im just making it from stuff i find around the house. I already have the barrel and stock off of a salvo, but i am still working on the shroud and sights. I will post pics as soon as i can.

may i suggest some plastic padding, aluminum sheets and magnets.. and perhaps wood. that's how i made my rk-62

Thanks for the tips and ideas. I don't know what i am going to do about a mag yet because i have an air-through front grip and not a lot of money to throw at it right now.

i got an airsoft mag. it was the only part i though would be better to buy. later i got a hold of a real mag and a magclip. but other than that i made all my parts from plastic padding, an aluminum sheet, wood some scrap-pipe that i found and magnets.

That's understandable man, I've been wanting to do a few things with my A5, but ehh, bills and such.

Sorry Im so late with pictures. Our internet crashed for a while. Heres the start of this operation.

I started with a piece of aluminum railing like this:



Then I cut it to fit my 98


Here is a little test fit


And these little inserts will work perfectly as tac-rails as soon as I cut notches in them

I am still working on the rear rotary-aperature sight, and i have a ump sight for the front. When I finish the rails I can start thinking about a magazine and then paint it!
