Re: Is a stock worth it?

yea for CQC i wouldnt bother with a stock cause it could get in the way. I dont have to worry about CQC because im always a back to mid player im not small enough to be up front in the face of the opposing team

Re: Is a stock worth it?

look it dose not mater on how small you are it is all just your skill level. I am about 5' 10'' or more and i like being right up close to the front line of fighting. people who sit back and don't get shot at are the majority of the heavy gunners and some support of riflemen, but if you want a good stock look at the g36 style stock. the stock will actually you sight in you marker plus if you have a long barrel they will fold up and not inter fear with your grip on the gun.

Re: Is a stock worth it?

I personally think stocks are only for looks unless you run a remote. In which case you might wish for something to hold against your shoulder. A reason for a stock + remote over a tank on the gun is usually that it is a bit lighter.

HOWEVER

IMHO a tank is better than a stock since it is lower and does not get in the way of the mask when you aim. With a stock you usually (unless it is a dogleg kind of stock) need a riser or offset to be able to look down the sights.

to get the stock at a comfortable length, hold the gun in a way you like that is comfortable and you are able to aim. then have a friend measure the length between the marker and your shoulder and add about half an inch (so that when using the stock you actually have to push it back hard. This will keep your marker and aim fixed in the right position)

And on the lighter side:
"kick" is a relative term and if it (in paintball) interfiers with your aiming capabilites you might want to look into bulking up a bit...
