Re: model 98 shells incoming, what do? Have you considered grinding / sanding the shells down to the lightest they can be? I bet you could do away with the front grip, round off the bottom and top. I was actually thinking last night about hiding a shocker inside the shells. (shockers are cheap) dremel out the hand grips put a rod to the trigger through where the RT goes, have that hit the micro switch with a UTB board try and keep the upper board and solenoid in the hand grip. Carve out the inside of the cases and drop the shocker body inside. Now someone might find that to be surprising.

Re: model 98 shells incoming, what do? I think I'm going with the ion inside idea. I think I'll clean up the shells and do some light cosmetic work on them. and add a double trigger of some sort. Ill have to widen the insides by atleast 2mm but I don't think that'll be a problem.

Re: model 98 shells incoming, what do? "Have you considered grinding / sanding the shells down to the lightest they can be?" I did that in one area and made a little hole where the vertical adapter sits. I didnt have any thing to measure the thickness!!! Also I was using a dremel rotary tool and a file. I am sure if someone had a micrometer or some other measuring tool, time, and patience they could use the tools I used. These 98s are pretty thick but, unless you dont plan on adding much upgrades it might be pointless. A milled down mech model 98 / c98 / cpro (98) Some sort of light hopper, I like the original 2v revvy A remote air line Carbon fiber barrel Lightest 98 set up....
