Anyone ever made a homemade expansion chamber?

Im in the process of building an expansion chamber that drops straight out of the bolt and double as a drop forward. no real reason for doing this other than i really dont like the front grip, and wanted something unique.

has anyone else on here made a custom expansion chamber from scratch?
