New guy here.. question bout grip thickness

Hi Guys and thanks for having me.

C98 grips tend to be 'long' imo and feel so in my hand so I'd like to grind or file down the rear of the main grip to make it less so. Does anyone know the wall thickness of that area? Or will I grind through in a second if Im not careful? Im using 45 grips already but its not enough for me. Thanks!

I wouldn't go frinding on the grips. You could cause some serious issues there. If it's to thick, get some slim fit grips that are made for .45's

You could always make some wood grips from laminated flooring material. It will really slim out the grip a lot because it's only a few millimeters thick. I actually put fake woodies on my Salvo for my g/f because she can't grip the marker with the stock grips. I also used the same grips on my old 98c..

That IS a good idea. Thanks. I'll give it a try. Though, the handle is still 'long'... does that make sense? lol I much preferred grips like they had in the old days of paintball like from a Phantom or such. This left room for wearing handgear and such as well. I may have to try out the Gryphon Guess I'll start another thread about those.
