Milsim Tippmann 98ACT

Here is my baby. Its a 2007 Tippmann 98ACT with its fair share of mods. I meant it to be a M4 replica, but I didn't like the looks of the M4 mags, they always look out of proportion with the gun, so I threw on the M82 Barret .50 sniper mag on it instead, makes for a nice "bipod" and helps protect the airline while giving it a pretty sick look.
The List:

BT M16 carrying handle
M4 6 position stock (cant remember the manufacturer)
BT M16 barrel w/ Apex
Opsgear .50 BMG mag
RT Trigger
Rufas Dawg's Wicked Bolt
Fully modded Cyclone (not pictured yet)
Rocket Cock II

This is the only current picture I have for now, it is pictured with my Tippmann A5 with a B5 kit from Identity Crisis Paintball. I will add more pics of the 98 when I get them.

UPDATE: New paint and one new part! I installed a Magpul handguard. I highly recommend this handguard setup for anyone using the BT M16 setup, or if your setup uses the AR15 parts. Its awesome!!

Re: Milsim Tippmann 98ACT

Nice markers! Though the mag on the M4 one is alittle big for my taste, but wonderful none the less. Also, is that a bullpup conversion I see 8D?

Re: Milsim Tippmann 98ACT

haha, I know, that mag I have on there now is gigantic. And its made from steel!! I was looking for a mag that would sit right up against the trigger frame and none of the M4 mags could really pull that off, I just hate having that gap. The only mag kit I could find was the bossman kit that The Bear has on his, but the part that covers the old foregrip of the 98 shell was a turnoff for me. This .50 BMG mag looks a lot cleaner than most other mags I've seen and it covers both the foregrip area and it goes all the way to the trigger frame, which is what gave it a clean look for me. It also protects the air line a great deal as I've mentioned.

Yes, that is my new project beauty, my A5 bullpup. I'm actually looking for an M4 mag for this one as well. The mag should fit right where the airline is running up through, giving the look of a real bullpup. This link will bring you to the page that I posted the gun on, giving you the upgrades and better pics as well:
Tippmann "B5"

However, I don't have a nickname out yet for either of these guns, any ideas would be appreciated.

Besides, who doesn't like a M4 chambered for a .50 BMG?? Lol...

Re: Milsim Tippmann 98ACT

Nice M4 job though, Bear, I was thinking on buying a cyclone setup for my 98 as well. I have all the parts to do it since I bought a full upgrade from RAP4 for my B5, so I should be able to just buy the small things that I need and throw together another cyclone with the old A5 parts that weren't ever even used, haha.

Re: Milsim Tippmann 98ACT

Just modded my Ricochet hopper with techie's TekLiner. It is definately much quieter now. I was even able to get that neoprene around the propeller of the loader as well.
