| Re: AK Gallery Stock internals except for the bic penspring mod. I thought about a fake mag, but I'd rather have the second handgrip for when things get a little dicey. ![]() Last edited by oi_camel : 09-03-2010 at 04:10 AM. |

Yeah ! Somebody has a complete TACAMO AK-98 kit. I was right proud of making the fore-grip knob. I thought it was a nice touch. You need a remote for your gun though ![]() I wish I had kept one of the kits. Unfortunately though, this is the only TACAMO thing I kept. ![]() |

| Re: AK Gallery Man that krink is a beaut, the oldschool strap and the star mag really make it :P A good remote system is next on my list once I have some more cash to throw at my marker. I never thought when I posted that the guy who made it would comment, thanks man! I love AK variants but I've never liked the tippmann kits and I'm really glad that someone stepped up and did it justice! I gotta ask you, what's the spring loaded hole on the butt of the stock for? I thought it was for a remote but could never figure out exactly how to hook up through it. Last edited by oi_camel : 09-05-2010 at 02:46 AM. |

| Re: AK Gallery And because I feel bad about posting without pictures, here's some eye candy to prove my point. Tacamo vs. the plastic Tippmann AK kit? No contest! ![]() ![]() Last edited by oi_camel : 09-05-2010 at 02:47 AM. |

The spring loaded hole is for a cleaning kit. The stock is made from a real Chinese Type 56 (their version of the AK-47) and that is where the cleaning rod goes. I always used real steel parts where practical and when it wasn't ...well I made up stuff, like the sight rail and wooden knob. |

| Re: AK Gallery I tended to like when you showed up at the field with new stuff. I still regret not buying one of the CQB kits you had.

| Re: AK Gallery Been a while since I've cruised this thread and some of the more recent additions...way to go! Anymore AK's out there? GOTTA BE! I'll admit, I don't think I'll ever get tired of mine. As a matter of fact, I'm thinking of beefing up me 'ole AK98 come Spring next year. |
