Simple Alpha Black Project

I wasn't really sure what to do to my ABT to make it better. It already looks like an M16, and quite accurate 100% stock....but who likes stock equipment? So the quest began to make an already good marker even better.

Feel free to post comments/suggestions.

Now to the goodies.....

"Ultra Flat Olive Drab" Alpha Black Tactical w/ Polished Internals
Clyclone ACT
J&J 14" Ceramic Barrel
NcStar Front Foregrip
Adco Sure Shot Red Dot Sight
BT 1 Point Bungee Sling

Re: Simple Alpha Black Project

You do know your opening Pandoras Box with that question dont you?
If 98OG had a glossary then Upgrades would equal Potential Mayham.

I would suggest replacing the A5 Hopper with the Low Profile X7 Hopper. Advantage to the low profile plus you have the original as a backup in case the worse should happen. Alot of folks seem to like the Tac Caps as well. Never tried them myself but have heard nothing but good things.

Your Marker looks great as it is!

Nice looking Alpha. I agree with jbh, swap the A5 hopper for the X7 hopper. If you can play with less rounds, then the Tac-cap IS a good choice. I just picked one up, but haven't had a chance to try it out yet. Looking good so far, but I'm sure there will be more to come... there always is....

Re: Simple Alpha Black Project

That's a great looking marker man. The way it's been painted is well done and you didn't go overboard with modifications. Beauty in simplicity. Jb's right though, you'd do well with an X7 low-pro and then a one of my Tek-Liner's for it, so you aren't rattling all over the field.

Re: Simple Alpha Black Project

Looks great Bud, as everyone else suggested X-7hopper is well worth the investment. I really like the two tone color scheme to. I would like to see it with the buttstock painted too. Just the stock itself not the extension tube it fits onto. Great job.

Re: Simple Alpha Black Project

i love the two tone color too. but i would have painted the stock green but kept the lever for the stock black so the 2 tone goes through the whole gun.
and paint your hopper but leave the bottom cyclone system black... that would look pretty awesome.. i think anyways

Re: Simple Alpha Black Project

Im taking all of your comments into consideration. Ill be heading out to my local sporting goods shop to get a few things. One of which will be an X7 LP Hopper. Ill be painting both hoppers olive drab aswell. Im also thinking about painting the rear part of the stock too, but im still undecided on it.

Re: Simple Alpha Black Project

I agree on the stock. Paint the stock but not the slide part.

I always thought it would be cool to see a bayonet on the end of one of these. AND BEFORE Y'all YELL at me...... A rubber one that looks real. Great intimidation factor during the Banzai Charge.

Re: Simple Alpha Black Project

Fake c-mag and m203 'nade launcher. Now that would be intimidating! It looks good now. Try and resist A5/X7 forever-modding-syndrome. Its more important to be comfortable with what you have than to keep looking for the Unicorn.
