| 98 all-in-one sniper with LP kit Okay this is my last Tippmann Project as I just bought the T9 with first strike kit and it beast all my sniper marker projects with it’s added accuracy and distance. ![]() This is an all in one sniper rifle. I used some parts from the RAP4 Flexi Air Stock to make it work with the LP kit. I was originally hoping to use the E-Bolt but I am having a hard time finding another one… I already have 3… need a 4th! Tippmann needs to make me one! Polished internals Tippmann 98 LP kit with CO2 expansion chamber as extra grip and reservoir. RAP4 13ci 3000 PSI tank & Car Stock mounted onto a custom made ASA stock. – 100 round capacity. ![]() Bob Long Regulator mounted onto an ASA with gauge. Tasco Pro Point Red Dot, sighted at 100 ft. ![]() BT Rip Clip with Tac Cap – 30 round capacity. |

I have a freak kit. I have freak backs for Spyder, 98, A5, and some other guns but I find using a Lapco Spyder to 98 adapter and using the Spyder back produces less chops when using the Freak on the 98. For some reason the 98 Freak back chops paint when using inserts smaller that .687. I think the lead in from the 98 back to the insert is too much of a difference and ends up chopping. The LAPCO Spyder combo provides a smoother lead in from the 98 chamber to the barrel. Adam |

| Re: 98 all-in-one sniper with LP kit Hey, sweet gun! Very nice job, there is nothing else I would do, considering you're going for the sniper type look. I personally would use a cyclone instead of a rip clip in this case, because I wouldn't want to run out of batteries on a beauty like that. Batteries complicate things, for me at least, and since you probably won't need the 20bps a rip clip offers, cyclone seems to fit the work-all-the-time bill. Honestly though, that's a pretty nice lookin gun, and that's just my opinion. Peace, superducky

Thanks. I hope someone will make a gun like this that takes the First Strike round and has a mini HPA tank as a stock... I bet a lot more people would play a sniper role... Adam |

Thank You. I have the cyclone, q loader, and gravity feed for the 98. I switch them out depending on how I’m feeling, what role I am playing and who I am playing with. Yes many people turn up to games with out any batteries or forget to put them in their gun (I know, I’m always lending out my rechargeable ones), but the cyclone consumes air, reducing the shot capacity from about 120 rounds down to about 80 rounds. That’s a 1/3 reduction. It also has faults of its own. The rip clip allows you to wind it up manually and feed unto 6 balls per wind-up, cyclone is one at a time if it breaks. Adam |

Tiberius is supposedly coming out with conversion kits for a bunch of different guns to use the FS rounds, so eventually you might be able to use them on this one...
