Re: Project DeadMan

Dude! You are my best friend and you didn't tell me you got the stock! (Which looks sweet btw) And what's up with your mask? Did you finally put the cover over the lens? What did you finally use?

Oh, and to those of you who are wondering, yes, that silencer is very... very long. And, extremely quiet I might add.

Re: Project DeadMan

Ended up using nylon screen material. Just painted it the same color as the mask. I cut holes in the screen to use the lens mounts/locks so its easy to pull off for cleanup... Cheap fix for the reflection problem.

I didnt tell you about the stock because I just got it.. and I had to purdy it up before I put it on the gun

Re: Project DeadMan

I like your front shroud/silencer. It looks pretty sweet. Does it actually make the gun and quieter? looks like it does :-p

Re: Project DeadMan

I can personally attest to the fact that it does indeed make the gun quieter... It sounds like a little puff. Sadly, the accuracy is seriously diminished after about 15 to 20 feet.

Re: Project DeadMan

HAHA! Come on now Duck. Its not quite that bad.. but it is strange to see the ball go strait, then bank a hard right... I am wondering if it may be the cheap barrel though. I'll pull off the suppressor today to see what happens.

Re: Project DeadMan

Just to tell you guys Supressors or silencers(whatever you prefer to call it)are technically illegal. This is because they can be modified to be used on real guns. Just call it a "Rain Cover"

ANd that looks awsome man....REP'D

Re: Project DeadMan

Ok.. "rain cover" ... FWIW the packing I used would burn up instantly if used with a gun, it would be pretty useless then. But I do understand the thought behind it...

hmmm in college a "rain cover" meant something else, kinda hand in hand with the sock on the door knob. I'm guessing this is not the same thing.

Can't wait to see the final results!
