Re: winter formula

yup...home made apex barrel shroud you gotta love pvc pipe...rip clip keeps up nice...i love the sliding stock i have them on all my guns they're the best...e-grip set at 12 bps...and expansion chamber i usually run a bottle right out of the bottom of the gun but winter calls for the chamber...and to top it off a cute little handle for transport...

Cool looking setup. I like the PVC shroud, do you have a close-up pic? The stock looks good, too.

messure from apex to gun...cut i believe it to be 1 inch pvc to length...use electrical tape in two spots on the barrel to build the barrel up...start with three wraps you will be real close to snug give or take a wrap...once you got it snug take it apart and then run a length of tape down the tube this will give you a straight line mark three dots about inch to inch and a quarter...drill small pilot holes straight through the tube gives you six holes...three per side...now rotate the tube a half turn and repeat but offset the holes...to get machine gun look...now drill half inch holes from your pilots...if you have a dremel take the sandpaper disc and circle from in the holes this frenches the holes like mine for a nobody else has one look...if you goof up the first pvc is real cheap a 1 inch pipe 8 ft long should run you less than three bucks...spray paint it flat black and go show it off...make a couple for your buddys and buy your self come paint...they sell online for up to ninety bucks

Re: winter formula

just tried to add picatinney sight rail that cost $20 to run an m-16 handle but ran into 2 problems...first i forgot the ripclip...no biggy i'll cut the rail...zip on the old saw...looks good now to gun...looks real good...problem 2 sliding stock slams into it and won't work...$20 in the crapper...live and learn...funny thing is it works on my a-5 and x-7 with no problem...moral of the story is think things through but in this case if i would have taken my time probably wouuld have seen it wouldn't work but i bought it on ebay so returning it would have been a hassle...plus it came in missing 3 set screws...i kept it in case i take the rails off but they are the sxxt...
