First off I'd like to say i'm glad a forum like this exists, a forum dedicated to 98s, the best gun ever made, hands down. It's the first gun i ever had, and the only gun i have ever fought with in all the battles I've been in.

Now that's over with, I'll get to the gun. Here's my current setup, and all the other accessories i have that I use.

-(obviously the 98c)
-Response Trigger
-TAPCO 6 position M4 stock
-BT carry handle
-M16 barrel, minus the M16 shroud
-custom shroud made from an airsoft HK MP7, works perfect because of the built-in collapsible vertical grip
-custom silencer made from the remnants of a bike seat post I trimmed
-magazine from an airsoft HK XM8, screwed directly to the gun, for now
-plus an extra rail i added to the side of the shroud

The magazine well is another story, still a work in progress. As it stands, it's mocked up with wall paneling and cardboard covered in electrical tape. And I'm still considering if i should cut off the stock vertical grip or not, suggestions??????, ideas???????,tips??????????

Welcome to the OG. Sounds like you have a pretty sweet marker. you should post them up here for the benefit of those that don't use Facebook (I think I'm the only person in the world that doesn't).

Yeah, sorry, i tried to upload my pics but it wouldn't let me for some reason, tips, hints, help?? any way, i acctually did some more work in the mag well, wrapped it in electrical tape for now, now the prettiest, but it's temporary, til i come up with another idea

ghandi best way to post pic like i did is use photoshack and get the url link then use it do post it. i also did the same with my brother m16 mag from his airsoft gun and electrical is the best lol

That looks pretty good. I think it's the first 98 I've seen with a see-thru bullet mag. I was gonna put one on mine just before I sold it. I think a Bossman magwell would look decent on there. That way it will cover the foregrip "stump".

yeah i was thinking of cutting it off, but whenever i take out the screw used in it, the body separates, any ideas, should i make a new hole in the body for a new screw to hold the body together?
