well....after some time off from making pb parts, i'm resuming this project

course, i had a set back when my truck was stolen and i had all the fabbed parts for the stock in the back of my box.....

Damn man thats really crappy. I hate thieves. Hopefully it won't be too much of a pain to refab the parts. I hope you make out well with insurance and all that. Maybe they'll catch the SOB(s).

i've gotten everything made so far annodized black....once the FAL is done i'll finish the wendigo....i'm still chocked i have to remake the stock...as well as the guy who does my aluminum welding quit my company so i need to find a new guy with a tig welder (not this guy at work did a good job, i could have done better, its just he did my work for free)

-i have to still make a bracket for the sight (1/2 hour of work machining)
-i have to make another stock
-i have to braze a chuck on alumium inside the pistol grip and machine it to re-enforce the grip, to support the RT piston, and as a location to put a hole to bolt the AK grip to.

then somethings are off to the powdercoater and the rest to the annodizers

and its done....not really alot of work to do...



sadly, all my projects now have a slow turn around...working 12+ hour days really knocks the crap out of me and rarely do i want to stay at work any longer when i want to go home and play with my chemistry sets (aka Piranha tank) (aka salt water reef tank) (aka the Hexbasher Pharmaceutical Lab for Blindness Research.....aka home brewing beer and wine)

Whats the story with this build? It's not being forgotten is it?

I'm just getting started on a PP-19 Bizon project myself, and I was linked to this build over on A5OG. It made me really take a good look at the 2 base platforms, and I ended up picking a 98 to do this build instead of another A5.

So I joined up over here to be able to watch the end of this.

I'll post mine up once I make a little progress...
