September MOTM Voting Thread

MOTM is based on the one from X7OG which has been working very well for a long time.

All eligible pix are allowed(even a stock marker can win if the pic is good enuf).

Everyone has a chance to be one of the first 5.
The 5 spots never fill up as soon as i post the thread.

For the record, US Army Guy's submission came 10 hrs after the submission period opened and almost 8 hours after the previous entry(last spot) was submitted so there was LOTSA time.

I understand your sentiments but this method is the simplest and fairest method.

^^^aggreed....me, i only vote for guns that have their safety turned on in the pics...my next consideration is if a hacksaw's been applied...etc etc

though one problem magmoor, is this forum isn't really all that active compaired to other pb forums

First come first serve seems to be a pretty fair way to go. However...

I think it's the individuals responsibility to know whether or not they are submitting a Marker of the Month worthy picture, as opposed to just having their marker showcased for a month.

I feel you should be in it to win it, not because its just something to do.

This is true. But I figure it has enough that a good selection of people would show up. Let's be honest here; there are two pairs of nearly identical guns this month.

Hm... I guess I wouldn't get any vots from you then. My guns don't have safetis. ^.^

don't worry magmoor, as it stands, the wendigo isn't having a safety..not yet atleast.....i got kicked in the head too many times in army cadets at the rifle range for touching the magazine in the wrong way to have sub-standard firearms handling.....safeties are a must in my book

Votes in. People should check out the X7 and A5og's MOTM selections.

The markers in those have a lot of love put into them, Not saying that these don't have any less love, but It's not just a matter of placing a stock on it and snapping a photo on the carpet. Most of the MOTM winners on the x7 and a5 really take the time to set up their pictures. And a stock marker generally would not suffice.

Maybe it's different with the 98og, but I know I've seen some nice mods on 98customs.

I have entered a few times and everytime i take time to try and set up a good pic. This month i didnt even get to take the pic i really wanted so i did what i could at home and really tried to set up a decent pic...i thank in advance to the people that have voted not only for me but others as well. My bday is in sept to so this would not only be an honor but a pretty dang sweet bday present...My brother got me a dremel as an early bday present and i already snagged up a 3rd 98custom..now i am just thinking of how to hack it up and make it my own hahaha I really wanna mill off the front grip but i want to know where im gonna go from there before i just cut it up. I honed my dremel skills a little bit today cutting down the barrell i got with the 98 from 14 to around 6...now i have a 16, 11, 6, and 4 inch to choose from

And i do look at A5OG and X7OG and am in awe at some of those markers..i am trying to get mine as unique looking as i can without spending much cash
