devlins RK-62 (picture heavy)

Well I thought i would post some pictures from my RK-62 project (since my old pictures have been corrupted/removed)

sooo here we go.

MARK I:

MARK II

MARK III

and some details:
12 inch nitestikk barrel
rest of the internals stock

airline re-reouted (used the elbow of an X7 at the end of the PS airline and then added a female to female adapter and standard steelbraided airline all the way back to the ASA inside the stock)

TO COME:
Perhaps a APE trigger (a friend is going to the states and might bring me back one)
perhaps a freak/ifit/apex2
rear sight
airtru stock (that screws into the ASA and looks like the real steal version)

and here a picture of the real steal (wrong mag and a stamped reciever instead of a milled one)

Its not the number of markers you own it is what you have done to make them your own style of marker.

Re: devlins RK-62 (picture heavy)

I sold the stock i made for mark I-II since it was solid and could not be used with the mark III.

the stock can be made in an evening and is no problem.. the rear sight will take some more time.

Wouldn't mind having the ifit + freak + apex2 on it instead of the working suppressor/silencer (it actually works) and the ape trigger would be quite nice.

However there are still a few kinks to work out.. the mag is a bit wobbly (just like the real deal) and the cockinghandle is a bit too big so it makes the plate "jump" when you cock the gun.

Re: devlins RK-62 (picture heavy)

Dude, you gotta ditch the bottle for a remote setup, and put that Yugoslav/East German faux folding stock back on. That marker looks 1000% better with the stock instead of the bottle, even if the stock is home-built (You should have use one of those pics for MOTM - you'd have gotten my vote if you did. The bottle just turned me off to be honest) The clamped double waffle mags are a nice modern touch as well.

How are you charging the action on this marker? Does your charging handle on the right side (where the real steel handle would be) actually function? The homemade receiver shroud seems to cover the stock location is why I ask. If you pulled that off you get props from me for that for sure...

No matter how many times I look at this marker, that is a piece of art! You did one heck of a job replicating the real thing!
