Its not the number of markers you own it is what you have done to make them your own style of marker.

Re: trying a new camo

nah...alittle dark for my liking....to me, it looks too uniform...too evenly spaced...that makes it stand out more and act less like camo should

if the colors match your environment, then its all good...as long as you wear camo that matches too...your painting technique is good though

Re: trying a new camo

sure thing. I used krylon od camo for a base. Then i took a bug sponge, you know the ones with the netting on them, and cut off the netting. I stretched the netting over the marker halves and sprayed a tiger stipe-ish pattern with the krylon flat black and krylon camo dark brown. clear coated it and cured it under a pair of halogen work lights( my oven didn't go down low enough and my mom wouldn't let me near her toaster oven) i probably should have practiced more but oh well, if i decide i dont like it, i can strip it and start over.

i play in a pretty shaded woods area so i kept it kinda dark.

Re: trying a new camo

Other than the lines being too uniform you did a great job. Next time you paint try to make the lines more curved and jagged.

Re: trying a new camo

That looks pretty good. Like what was already stated, it needs to be broken up a little more, but your technique was great and it came out pretty good. So are you gone to do the hopper and mask to match?
