Well figured I may as well post it for all to see though it's not an ingenuitive
as some other 98 builds. None the less.



I have a Straightline barrel coming for it, and will need to put a proper front sight on it eventually. Camo rap on the barrel, hopper and Cyclone body was done with a roll of Camo Tape. The front sling mount is a combination of a BT Universal Bipod adepter and the lower rear sling mount and bolt from the Car Stock. My 48cu/3k psi tank fits perfectly below the stock.

It is a wood tree design Duck brand tape, but it tends to fade after a while when it's exposed to the sun. The Barrel definitely needs to be redone, but with a new barrel on the way I don't really want to waist my time. You can tell the fade pattern as the lower (shade) side of the hopper has more definition.

Of course I am open to suggestions if there is a better tape out there close to $8 or $9 CAD.

Hmm looks good I like the tape stuff never seen it before, Looks a lot like my gun, Cept I have a flatline and a RipClip on my 98

its a self cling tape that only sticks to its self and leaves no sticky
residue at all plus you can wash it and then put it back on after your done
its like $10 or so on ebay
and they had a couple differtn colors
but im sure you can find it cheaper

^^ yeah that mcnett is great. I use it on my 870 express and it comes right off for maintenance..no mess at all.

Yeah, looks like great stuff, and I found a place that should have it locally. The catch is, it seems to be $8 CAD more once it gets across the border. :| They want $19.95 CAD for a roll, not that it will not be worth it once my new barrel comes.

Will be picking up my new barrel on Thursday, and will likely get some camo form to. Don't want to duck tape an expensive barrel kit, though I may stick with it for the hopper lid and cyclone feed housing as I am not sure I can get the camo form to work on these areas as I like it to. We'll see though.

the camo form stuff sticks only to its self
so if you wrap it around that area you wont have an issuse
as its like velcro to its self but to nothing else
