Just felt like posting up some pics of my 98. Just finished putting it all back together again after a few mods and some paint.

I like that paint job. what's the expansion chamber made of? Also like the "Rain Cover". nice that it works and keeps water from getting into the barrel...

I recommend removing the word in parenthesis before silencer. Sure don't want the Feds making a fuss...lol

its only illegal to have a silencer on a real working firearm or to be in possession of one that can be fitted to a firearm. mine isnt that sophisticated lol. works ok on a paintball gun, but not a chance in hell of working on a real weapon.

I have a couple buddies that are city cops and they told me that first hand. as long as i dont figure out a way of attaching it to my rifle or hand gun, its perfectly legal to use on my paintball gun for fun. they even thought it was pretty damn cool when they used it. lol

Cool that your buds allow it. Does it really help? I remember an article from the late 80's/early 90's saying they work good..

Love the Paint job how long did it take you and what did you use actual paint or spray paint?

yeah i think they main reason they dont care is becuase the silencer is home made. its just pvc really. its not like a real silencer thats been converted to a paintball gun or anything crazy like that. and its not a complete silencer, it just muffles the sound a bit so its not such a loud POP noise.

and the paint took me about 3 days total. I used an airbrush on it and did it in stages. then used a paint pen to draw the dividing lines.

and the exp chamber is made from high pressure polycarbonate tubing i got from a buddy of mine. super nice and light and doesnt freeze up from co2 like aluminum does.
