Versatility suggestions? (pic heavy)

So I have a 98 custom pro with stock custom stuff, and other paintball and gun show acquired accessories, but need some suggestions. Only have 1 (reliable) gun atm, and have set it for sniping, heavy, or light. Only things I can think of right now is a 8" rifled hammerhead sharks tooth barrel for light use (buddy has a 14" rifled empire twister barrel, and now I'm a believer) Any suggestions on what I can do to make it more versatile?

Sniper setup.Note the 2-7x rifle scope with quick connect weaver offsets and weaver adapter/riser. Bipod crudely mounted to 14" J&J ceramic barrel

Heavy setup. Not sure I am a fan of the APEX2 barrel, but havent tried it with HPA yet (gun spikes too much on CO2). Response trigger and cyclone feed in place, as well as 30mm red dot scope. Strapping there is actually part of a 3 point tactical sling

Light setup, for Urban/speedball environments. This is really where i need a lot of help. Stock is kind of cumbersome, may need to convert my backup gun to this (bought it for its response trigger, and put it on this gun)

Anyways, looking for other options/things i am not considering. Not big on milsim myself, but more for functionality. Thanks for any input!

Re: Versatility suggestions? (pic heavy)

If i understood well you are looking for a do it all set up and still be light.

first the stock i see is a big plastic part that adds weight, i would go for the MP5 style sliding stock, the Cyclone hopper id go for the low profile one to gain visibility and its also less cumbersome, the red dot scope is great so id keep it as it is since Markers dont shoot that far plus the fact its very light too. I do not know if you actually run your air right on the marker or with a remote, i do prefer a remote but this is a question of preferance. I did notice the bipod you have does not require a shroud/hanguard, i would install it with the barrel you like most. Thats pretty much it i could suggest with what i see and a minimum of investment

If you have the money a qloader is the best option instead of a hopper, it deceases the target presented by your gun and feeds just as fast if not faster than a cyclone. (although if you spent the money on the cyclone you might not want to do this)

Re: Versatility suggestions? (pic heavy)

Qloaders are notorious for breaking/dimpling paint, and generally being a pain about 60% of the time. When they function properly, it's a dream come true, but I've heard far more negatives than positives.
As far as light: I ran with an Alpha Black (notoriously heavy) with a Car Stock, an M16-style shroud, and air right on the marker and never noticed that it was heavy. The heaviest things on a paintball marker are the paint and the air, so by running a remote it will drastically reduce the pounds, but other than that, Tippmanns are built to last, and that almost always means using heavy materials.
Is it one-sidedly heavy? Like are you noticing the back is heavier than the front/ vice versa?

Re: Versatility suggestions? (pic heavy)

no scopes. red dots or iron sights. those sigts prove MUCH more versitile in the normal paintball skirmish. also, if you can get your hands on one of thekinds of stocks that both extend AND fold(like the project salvo's stock), this will make the verisility......expanded. also, the use of lowprofile hoppers(such as the valken V-MAX) and very light airtanks(like carbon fiber tanks) will make ou faster and give you less area to be shot in.for urban combat, id recomend a barrel of lengths of 12" AT MOST.

Re: Versatility suggestions? (pic heavy)

I may not have been very clear. In sniper and heavy situations I don't have alot of issue. But in light, running, close quarters, urban-ish situations I sometimes wish for the ability to run lighter (like say without a stock). My scopes (rifle and red dot) are quick disconnect, so I take them off, but other areas like the stock, I need more versatility. I like the folding CAR stock idea, tippmann has one for the 98, but I fear it will fold on either the right side feeds for my r/t and c/f or left unto my rocket cock (willing to remove if needed). Anyone have pics of how the folding CAR works? And thanks again for the input, I am a new member here and just getting back to paintball after a 4 year hiatus, and the current state of paintball (in my area especially) is poor, so it is nice to talk to those as passionate about it as I am excited to be back.

Re: Versatility suggestions? (pic heavy)

Well the folding CAR stock that comes with the Project Salvo folds to the right, and when not extended, fits right up against the CF housing with about a 2-3cm gap between the two, but that is on my Salvo, so I don't have a clue on how it is on the 98, sorry.

I have a 10" palmers barrel that is a tack driver and good with paint. I love that thing with a passion.
