Hey guys. Well as much as I love my X7 and treat it so nicely, it lets me down at the field a lot. So, i upgraded my back up marker a bit so i could still have something to play with. here is my 98 Custom pro Platinum ACT.

Upgrades so far:
-polished internals
-shaved ball detent ( I would recommend not cutting it in half, just use sandpaper to get the rough edges off)
-CAR stock
-custom OD green paintjob

Upgrades to get:
rubber foregrip
Rocket cock
Tacamo hopper ( less shaking more shooting)
Opsgear folding PDW stock ( for when i don't want a stock, i can just fold it off to the side)

I don't want to upgrade my marker internally, since it is a backup gun i want to keep it simple, so there's less likely that something will go wrong. For a stock gun basically, she shoots great. I've played several games with her, and to be honest i sorta like this better then my X7 becuase it's so light and reliable. It shoots great to, the tippmann custom pro barrel is actually really well made. I would recommend getting the custom pro ACT 98 to anyone, but a word of advice, if you take it apart, make your you loosen up the tombstone adapter a lot, then screw it in tight AFTER you put the receiver halves back on.

Acog? wow how'd you know i have that. lol. the one i have pictured here is a 42mm NCstar red dot sight. I love my ACOG replica though.

Have you thought about a Bossmann Mag kit? And Tacamo makes an M-16 Barrel kit that is also pretty BA...just my thoughts...NOT my gun LOL
