Ok did not know that I just got that 98 it is the first newer one I have had. But thanks for the heads up.

even if u make everything fit, its likely that parts will rub against the air line, probably causing a rip or tear

After looking at it and thinking it through more I dont think the way you want to do it will be feasible. There are just too many parts in the way to run the airline like that
