newbe question CO2 pressure? HPA tank?

I just bought a couple of used guns, and one came with a
PURE ENERGY 72cu 3000psi tank. I take it this is for HPA
dont know anyone in my area that can fill it.
co2 wont work in this tank because of the liquid???
maybe I should try to trade for some CO2 tanks??
Guns are tippmann 98s (one is a response)
pure energy tank cam with remote and harness

Usually CO2 is a downgrade from HPA. You would need a Co2 tank to use CO2. The Pure energy tank you have now is HPA. You can always buy a scuba tank and an adapter to fill a HPA tank. I would keep that in reserve, and buy a couple of CO2 tanks as well.

Re: newbe question CO2 pressure? HPA tank?

You can fill CO2 into a compressed air tank, but it would be pointless. Not to mention the fact that no one is going to have a CO2 fill whip with the right fitting.

As for where to fill, any local paintball store should be able to. If there aren't any of those around, scuba stores should. Sometimes fire stations will too.

Where are you at? I don't know of any paintball shop that can't do HPA fills.

But you will never again be able to put high pressure air in it.

Basically you will ruin the tank.
