Lpk

I run co2 because there is no HPA fills near me, so would it be worth it to LPK my 98? If so, help me, because I have no idea how to go about doing this.

Re: Lpk

It will but, it wont help much.

I suggest buying a vertical adapter and a palmers stabilzer

Re: Lpk

It depends; what do you want it for? If you want it to be better on CO2, I wouldn't say it's worth it. I'd do exactly as TippmannEffect suggested, a VA and a Palmers Stabilizer.

Re: Lpk

Down and dirty answer: Don't get the LPK. Save your money and get a Palmer's Stabilizer. You can do as TippmannEffect suggested or you can get a Female Stabilizer kit for the 98 series.

Short answer:

Yes and no. The LPK allows the 98 to operate between 350 PSI and 450 PSI if memory serve me correctly. It basically turns your high pressure low volume marker into a low pressure high volume marker. It really won't change your air consumption, but it will make for more consistent shots and less wear and tear on the internals. If you do decide on the LPK keep in mind it does not come with a regulator, so you will need to purchase one. Since you are using CO2 as an air source I recommend a Palmer's Stabilizer.

If you don't want to shell out the money for both right away you can always start with the Stabilizer. If you still feel like you could benefit from the LPK down the road you can pick it up or build one yourself at that point. Just keep in mind that the required volume chamber could potentially act as an expansion chamber for the CO2, which could hinder the purpose of the regulator.

If you want the long answer just post up.

Re: Lpk

Ouch, that is a major bummer. I always get the insurance package on my cell phone in case I do lose it or damage it. The cost to replace it with insurance is a lot less than the cost to replace it without insurance.

Hopefully you can still save up for the stabilizer after you replace your phone.

Re: Lpk

Many phones come with a warranty by the manufacturer that the phone companies usually dont tell you about...

Though i doubt it covers lost phones.

Re: Lpk

Not sure if it is the same warranty you are talking about, but a few years back I lost my phone at an event. I had the insurance/extra warranty and it covered me losing my phone.
