I've got a nice little 12g adapter from ebay, china made for my Maverick pump and i told myself, why the hell not.

Did you know 98 are real air hogs? i get about 12-14 efficient shots with a 12g.. its almost a g of Co2 per shot!!! My old old maverick got about 30 efficient shots with the same 12g... thats amazing for a rusty old piece i took from a old dusty garage :P

So, did you ever tryied the 12g setup for a 98? how many shot were you able to get?

not many at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it takes way too much air to cycle the beast. I think I averaged 10 shots MAYBE with my 98c in winter.. There is a lot of mass in a 98 and those 12g's just don't have the capacity. I have tried and failed also. I just tried it on one of my spider mr1's and I got 23 shots dry firing before I noticed any real shoot down.

All I could ever get were five good shots and five real crappy shots
