just a normal ninja 3000 psi reg will be fine - leave it at HP 800, we set it that way at the factory.

the regs are adjustable from 500 to 650 to 800 - watch the vid

Re: HPA tank help

Hey, while we're on the subject of different regs, is there really a difference with 3k vs 4.5k regs? Obviously a 3k is going to be sprung differently, but past that? Like could I put a 3k reg on a 4.5k tank and fill it to 4.5k?

the 2 regs are exactly the same internally. the only difference is the high pressure burst disk and the markings on the reg.

we DO NOT recommend that you use a 3k on a 4.5 or vice versa!!!

Re: HPA tank help

Wait, if it's the same then why wouldn't you recommend it? I mean, once you switch the burst dics?

Probably because of the markings. It could be accidentally filled to hot and cause a serious issue if it's filled by someone else like many fields do.

Re: HPA tank help

Well, I wouldn't put a 4.5k on a 3k tank, that would be bad. But a 3k on a 4.5k shouldn't matter, especially since I fill my tanks myself.
