No one I play with does limited ammo but me, I use a tac cap and 50rnd pods, or I run my TiPX only. Makes for a real challange and I think it is a blast. The look on someones face when they get taken by someone who only carries the amount of paint that they have in their hopper is priceless or when they get hit when I am running pistol only. Plus it saves a fortune in paint, I can run less than a bag all day.

| Re: My Project Salvo bluecb7 - the marker looks good. I did my 98 in a similar M4 style and love it. Gramps - I've also run just my Tpx and had a lot of fun doing it. I find it works best in smaller games, but can be a real challenge in bigger games, especially with new players who like high rates of fire more than than stealth and accuracy...it's never the paint that has my name on it that I worry about, it's the paint that says "To whom it may concern"!

| Re: My Project Salvo Thanks ghost. I finally have some updates, and some questions. I got the Trinity Paintball foregrip with bipod, and upgraded to an E-grip with the APE rampage board. The first question I have concerns the foregrip; whenever the bipod springs out it's really loud. Is there any way of quieting it down, I've thought of cutting the spring just a little so it doesn't hit the metal collar quite as hard, or putting a couple layers of electrical tape to dampen it. The second question concerns the e-grip, whenever I turn it on and cock it it shoots fine the first time, but the whenever I recock it the gun will not fire again, I have to turn the board off and turn it back on to get the gun to fire. I haven;t had the chance to fire it with air hooked up and will try it tomorrow, hopefully that takes care of the problem. Anyway onto the pics: The parts: ![]() E-grip internals, and yes I did install the magnet after this pic: ![]() ![]() ![]() And one with the mock suppressor: ![]() |

| Re: My Project Salvo I got the board issue figured out. It ended up not even being the board, the connections in the battery itself were bad, so it only made connections when I pushed on it. Replaced the battery and it's good to go |
