Smart Parts Linear Rifled Barrel

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum and back in paintball after 10+ years w/o playing.

I used the search button to check out posts relating to my question, but I couldn't find the relative subject matter I was looking for. Forgive me if I missed something.

Have any of you used the Smart Parts 14" linear rifled barrel? Paintball-Online is selling them at $15 for clearance (discontinued?) and I'm curious to see if any of you can impart some knowledge my way. From what I can tell, it's a Spyder barrel, so I'll need the adapter. So far, I've been using a Tippman 16" RIS barrel in my yard, but I haven't tested it at the range or in games yet (I plan on storming SC Village very soon).

Your input is appreciated.

Its not the number of markers you own it is what you have done to make them your own style of marker.

Re: Smart Parts Linear Rifled Barrel

I have both the linear and the progressive.

Progressive shoots better but the linear is much better than stock.

Re: Smart Parts Linear Rifled Barrel

I agree with Holliwood the linear is alright but I'd go with a progressive, they have better accuracy.

Re: Smart Parts Linear Rifled Barrel

I already have a Tippy 16" w RIS...found it discounted on Amazon for 59.99

I also copped the 14" SP Linear due to it's low price. I guess I'll use both until I get comfortable.

Also, I was able to find a Rap4 M4 stock on the cheap ($7.00 plus shipping) at opentip.com. It's of the plastic variety, but it's pretty sweet for a starter.
