This is just to raise the issue and start a debate.

I propose we vote for an operator of the year for 2010.

Have everyone vote from a field of 10.
I have no idea how we should select the 10. Obviously, activity on the forum, helpfulness to newbs and others with questions, quality submissions(how to's, reviews, excellent quality posts, etc), would be considered.
i would think you should have to be nominated and seconded to make the list.
What say ye?

a lottery system?...A panel of judges?...trial by fire?...third one sounds good to me...being a canuck im always a little cold...

i remember last year (for 2009) there was a submition were folks recommended:
top poster
top modder
top operator
top whatcha mc ever
etc

afew pages but nothing offically ever came of it.

voting is always fun...maybe have three or so catagories...it may be hard for some people (my self included) to say 'this is the best person period' when it may be more appropriate to say 'billy is best at this, while tommy is better at that'
