I use a clean towel to protect my work surface and it helps keep the small parts from getting lost. I start by removing the cyclone from my marker and disassembling it.

Next I use a small screw driver to remove the long ratchet pin.

This is a detail of the cyclinder plug. Notice the short end of the inside ridge faces the spring.

Next I use a small screw driver to remove the short ratchet pin.

Here is a detail of the completely disassembled stock ratchet.

In this detail notice how the brass sleeve has a larger end that sticks out the bottom of the new ratchet.

This larger end will fit up into the cyclone body. This is a very nice feature of the JCS Jet Click as it prevents wear on the cyclone body.

The new stainless steel dowel pin inserts easily from the bottom. Make sure when your done that it is flush with the top. I used my multitool. If you have to force anything with this kit your doing it wrong. Remember always take your time.

You can see in the above picture where the stock ratchet spring guide goes. This kit has eliminated the second pin!

Next I oil the cylinder piston u-cup seal and reassemble the cyclone piston.

Next I use shocker lube on the inside of the stock cyclone body where the ratchet rides.

And also shocker lube the new JCS shaft.

Next I place the cylinder and JCS Ratchet assembly into the cyclone housing.

Next I insert the JCS feeder axle and replace the feeder ratchet spring.

Next I replace the feeder bottom plate screws. You don't want to over tighten them or the points will stick up through the inside of the cyclone and cause your paint to break.

Next I reinstall the lower sprocket.

Then the upper sprocket.

Next I use a drop of loc-tite.

And use the stock washer when replacing the feeder axle screw. You don't want to over tighten this screw to prevent stripping it.

All Done.

This mod was an absolute breeze to install! No hammering of roll pins and the brass bushings make this mod crisp and very precise.

Remember if you have to exert any force during this install your probably doing something wrong.
