| Re: Rip Clip vs Cyclone Feeder I prefer the cyclone just because of the no battery thing. I have seen several guys at longer scenerio games have to call themelves out due to batteries being dead.

| Re: Rip Clip vs Cyclone Feeder As long as you use fresh batteries each day, you shouldn't have to worry about batteries, as I can't think of anything that won't easily last a day of play.

| Re: Rip Clip vs Cyclone Feeder i have a rip clip on my 98 and wouldn't have it any other way! it flawlessly feeds the monster R/T and as long as you keep a decent record of how many shots fired...your batteries shouldn't go dead in the heat of battle. |

| Re: Rip Clip vs Cyclone Feeder Does anybody use rechargeable batteries in their Rip Clips, and if so, how long do they last? I'm wondering if precharged hybrid NIMHs like these: Rayovac Hybrid™ would work good. |

| Re: Rip Clip vs Cyclone Feeder Madasax - Does your marker require the use of a T-fitting to split the air between the R/T and Cyclone, or are there 2 separate areas to attach hoses? I have a Cyclone on my main marker but didn't like how it stopped functioning when my air got low so I put in a Lapco Uniflow Piston Housing (along with their Metal Ratchet & Squishy Paddles) and also changed the tubing and banjos for Clippard Banjos ST0-4 (10-32 x 1/8"barb) with 1/4"OD x 1/8"ID Hosing. Now my Cyclone will continue to operate until I run out of air completely. The official word from Tippmann is that if I install a R/T on this gun and split the air with a T-fitting it should not negatively affect the Cyclone or R/T, but I am aware that some newer A5s for instance now come with 2 separate areas to attach these 2 accessories, thus avoiding the use of a T-fitting. You see, I picked up a 2nd 98c for cheap to use as a backup / loaner gun and now of course am thinking about upgrading this as well, possibly putting a R/T and Rip Clip or Cyclone on this new one. |

| Re: Rip Clip vs Cyclone Feeder Yea i have one of the 2 way "T" fittings, works like a charm. My cyclone and R/T will work great untill i am really low on air, but that is to be expected. I also used a different hose on my R/T to connect the actual trigger to the fitting that goes to the outside of the gun, i did thid because the R/T was in my 98c and is a shorter fit than my salvo, i think the inside diam. is just a hair bigger and the hose is just a tad thicker, got it at a pneumatics store ha. Hope that answered ya!
