Cyclone on first gen 98...

im planning on drilling for this mod... anyone know the thread type and size? for example pipe thread at 1/8"

Do to the fact that the cyclone needs to thread into the powertube and not just into the marker shell, I would recommend getting a powertube with the nipple already in it. That way you just need to drill a normal hole the in shells.

hey man i just upgraded my m98 i just bought a dead on pb powertube and just put my original valve into the powertube i had to do a little modification to the valve and powertube such as grind,sand and polish..to make the valve fit but it works perfectly and then all u gotta do is drill ya a hole in the marker body and then just hook up your cyclone feed system! it makes a huge difference in the firing of the gun..you dont need to shake the gun to get the balls free to feed like u would in a standard hopper! if u have any questions hit me up and i can help ya out...if u still need it! goodluck!

awesome, im gonna have to wait a week or two because between buying the power tube and the kit its over $100... whats the pb powertube? ive only seen a Blew and a Tippman Replacement plastic....

ballsout: The powertube that ol_skool98 is referring to is the aluminum powertube made by Dead On Paintball.

Dead On Pro Seal Bolt and Power Tube [M98]
