Re: cyclone vs rip clip

Of the 2, get the cyclone. The Rip Clip is the stupidest thing ever. They literally took the Halo and made it BIGGER. I do like electronic hoppers much better than the cyclone, but the Rip Clip is a step back, not forward. If you want a Rip Clip, just buy an Invert Too. Easier to install (just shove it in your feedneck), smaller, probably better, and it can move from gun to gun.

Re: cyclone vs rip clip

Cyclone out of the both, but I would also look into HALOs. They are cheaper, just as reliable and an all around better hopper than the cyclone.

Re: cyclone vs rip clip

I have only seen pictures of the rip clip so I don't know how it performs. I have had no complaints out of my cyclone feed. The only thing to watch out for is the ratchet since over time the plastic will wear down. Almost anyone should be able to swap out a ratchet in five minutes or less. Also you don't have to worry about packing batteries for your hopper.

Re: cyclone vs rip clip

So will both the cyclone and the Rip Clip. Seriously, a rip clip is a halo in a different body.
