| TechT vs Wargear Paddles A lot of guys have asked if the Wargear Soft Paddles are as good as the TechT Squishy Paddles, since they are cheaper. TechT Squishy Paddles ($19.99): http://www.tippmannparts.com/TECHT-Pain ... p/7488.htm Wargear Soft Paddles ($3.95): http://www.ansgear.com/War_Gear_Soft_Fl ... dlered.htm I have used the Wargear paddles for a couple of years, and I recently got me some of the new TechT paddles. As far as softness goes, they are pretty close to being the same. They both come with a Teflon washer to go between the paddles and the cyclone housing. Wargear used to make a blue set of super soft paddles that were actually a little softer than the TechT version. I haven't been able to find these anywere for a few months and think they discontinued them. To me the only advantage the TechT paddles have is the new double stack design, and they are the only ones who have this that I have seen. This fights the "popcorn effect" that you get with the cyclone. This happens even with a regular hopper on the cyclone, but most only notice it when using a Tac Cap. The popcorn effect is caused by the action of the cyclone turning and then stopping suddenly as it does. This action causes that paint to pop up when you are low on paint and you can get missed shots even though you have paint in the hopper. The newer design on the paddles are the best I have seen so far at combating this. And because of this, unless you are on a really tight budget, I would recommend getting the TechT paddles over the Wargear version. Disclaimer: Before anyone asks, I am not sponsored by TechT or any of it affiliates. I got the TechT paddles just to see if there was a difference and figured I'd share what I found, as a lot of people have asked this question.
