Flatline Barrel Shot out!

I have the new flat line installed on a original m98. I have played around two cases of paint through this then, mid game last weekend I noticed shots were falling 15-25 feet from the gun and then boom, the barrel shoots out and lands about 15 ft in front of me. So i take the flatline completely apart and realize the barrel slides into the thread adapter piece and is held by a setscrew that had evidently came loose. Anyone had this happen??

Re: Flatline Barrel Shot out!

No not on a 98. Had my A5 FL shoot off because my reciever was warn down and my front screws on the gun were not tight. I got a quick change screw set with the FL. Then, the darn Cyclone fell off during the game.

I had just got the FL and screw set and was putting them on right before I went to chrono. I didnt realise they had brass spacers and the spacers werent going all the way in. Nothing messes up at the chrono, it waits till you get on the field. I had to switch from my beloved A5 to my old Spyder for the rest of that scenario.
