A5 flatline on TPX?

So being that the TPX uses X7/A5 threads.. could you put a flatline on it? have it been done?

Re: A5 flatline on TPX?

The A5 flatline does not thread into the A5. It actually replaces the thread adapter that is on the A5.

Re: A5 flatline on TPX?

could you use the X7's then? (the A5 would be a lot cooler since it looks like a silencer)

No. The breach block in the TPX is too far back in the clamshells to use any type of flatline.

Re: A5 flatline on TPX?

You CAN however add an APEX to the TPX.

Re: A5 flatline on TPX?

or...... get a 98 flatline, 98-A5 barrel adapter, and mod the top half of the TPX..... would make for one UGLY pistol..... but would work.

Re: A5 flatline on TPX?

what a shame. what was tippmann thinking? do you think you could mod a barrel to accept the flatline? I mean, so that you attach the A5 flatline at the end of another barrel so that the flatline sits flush with the front end of the gun?

Re: A5 flatline on TPX?

I suppose you could mod it for a barrel, but it would look like an MP44 with the curved barrel mod from WWII.
