Talking How to make flatline more accurate

I've bought a 98c with 12oz, vforce armor mask, basic hopper and a 4+1 belt all used for 200 NZD... The gun came with a flatty and although the accuracy is pretty good, I'm looking for ways to make it better, without spending much
Ideas? Anything ya think will help
Don't tell me to buy a new barrel cos the flatty is crap, I'm not interested lol

hmm.. I really don't know of any other way to make a flatty more accurate than dialing it in. You could always switch to hpa if you use co2, as that helps accuracy immensly! Oh yeah, btw, the flatty is crap!! you should get a new barrel!!! lol j/p

The type of paint you use will help aid in accuracy, especially when it comes to how thick the shells are. Too thin and they'll break in the barrel. What paint are you shootin' mate?

Re: How to make flatline more accurate

atm im usin rps stingers, which after 500 rounds havent chopped a ball and accuracy is actually quite decent(badmagic) but lookin at other ways to fine tune. I took 2 shots at someone leaning against a tree 40-45 yards away. the first one hit the tree inches away from his head, the 2nd hit him square in the back and broke

Re: How to make flatline more accurate

I like my flatline, But like people said its picky on paint, If you dont use the right paint you will lose out on accuracy and possibly break balls in your barrel, The accuracy is not horrible on a flatline it just depends on the range your trying to make the shot, obviously a far shot is going to be less accurate due to loss of velocity and its not like your shooting a high powered rifle to start with but its not a huge loss in accuracy also depends on wind. Using the correct paint with the flatline makes all the difference.

Idk what it does but I read somewhere you can put fishing line on the bottom of the flatline and it does something to the performance. Sorry if I'm wrong.

its ment to give the ball more of a fit in the barrel
but i have heard ppl try it and say they dont really notice any improvments
others do so i guess to each their own
