| Flatline issues... (sorry for the loooong post) So I bought a package on eBay that came with a Flatline, double trigger and RAP4 car stock. I just recently had the chance to mess around with the Flatline (actually put paint through it) and I had (what I found to be) interesting results. It does fire flat. It does give you great distance in a straight line shot, and even at a pretty good distance I could see that the paint was obliterated on impact (none of that "by the time it gets there its so slow it won't break" crap). But it also had HUGE side-to-side (horizontal) inaccuracy. I was aiming for a tree across a pond at one point, and of maybe five rounds fired in rapid succession all but one missed the tree. They all went in a very nice level trajectory but not with the accuracy I was hoping for. One of the guys with us had this POS that he bought at a yard sale for 10 bucks (not a Tippy) and he was able to hit the same tree from the same distance with the same paint I was using repeatedly (he did have to arc his shot, but he was threading a needle with it at the other end, where it counts) This is getting to be a long post, but I need to add that in the package deal I bought the trigger needed modding (too tight on the pivot pin) and the car stock needed modding as well (not a big surprise). So all three of the pieces in the package aren't up to snuff. Here's my question: do all Flatlines behave like this with cheap paint? Should I expect it to be more accurate with better paint or does it sound like I got a lemon? I kinda feel like selling it and getting a different aftermarket barrel that I can shoot cheap (whatever is available when I go to play) paint with, but I want to see what the masses have to say.

| Re: Flatline issues... (sorry for the loooong post) Yeah, i've worked on even trying to sweet spot my flatline and the accuracy still isnt the best, but at the distance you can get usually you can keep someones head down enough until one shot gets lucky.

| Re: Flatline issues... (sorry for the loooong post) Flatlines are NOT in any way, accurate. They are at best a harassment weapon due to the extended range. You want accurate, get another barrel.

Sounds like what I was thinking. Back to the search... Anyone want a Flatline? Sell it to ya cheap! Or trade for some other barrel! (I know that's cross-posting, and I'm too n00b to post in BST... just joking around!)
