Camo Helo

camo help*
I live in a ponderosa area with many pines (Ponderosa pine, firs ect.)

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Multicam is to light, so i was considering marpat. Other people mentioned a vertical tiger stripe designed for pine tree but i was unable to find a place to buy those,

does any one else play in an area like this and what camo do you use?

Also i considered a ghilllie but the weather here can be very hot.

Re: Camo Helo

I live in south east GA, and we invented the pine tree

I use standard BDU camo, and I have had no issue with it. Heres a site for camo patters. Camo: asi33266.com

And I say go for the suit. I wouldnt say Canada is very hot. It may be now though, but guys down here wear suits all the time.

Re: Camo Helo

MarPat works great in that type of area. Tigerstripe will work very well to, but it's not as popular so it's harder to find gear in that color.

Re: Camo Helo

I tend to use Smokey Branch hunting camo. Basicly it's a hybrid of the vertical tiger stipe with a mild leaf overlay. It tends to blend in well with the underbrush.

Re: Camo Helo

Wow, nice...but too green, it needs more dull tone.

I agree but i love this camo, I'm thinking of doing with darker shades of paint on my C3 if I ever have the time.

Tis may not help, but here is a camo job my brother did on his pellet rifle. It blends in nicely for pine woods.
