Was a reply to another thread, but now I'm really curious so I figured another thread was appropriate. Here's the question: Just curious; how many of my fellow ballers on this forum use NOD's, or have ever used them for their matches? I use gen1's.

My mistake boys. Nighttime Observation Devices (NOD, or NVD). Basically, anyone else packing night vision as part of their gear?

Ahh NV's
No i am not but have used them for a night game or two
They work ok but really hard to tell between team and op4
And lights really like to screw with them
So any LED flash light on strobe will ruin your night

Yeah my first night fight was under full moon so no real need, but subsequent engagements in pitch black have been extremely enhanced with the NVG's.

Also have you looked into the glow n the dark paintballs
It would be like star wars battle if you had those andn the NVs on lol

They do look just like tracers, or the glow in the dark 6mm pellets for airsoft. Even if you don't hit anything, they're entertaining as hell to watch haha. I don't use them too often, though; flashlights, lasers, and tracers work both ways in identifying target positions...and your own.
