Re: Your Favorite Kill I gogged a trash-talking spacegunner. He wouldn't take the hit the game before (gut shot) and I called him on it. He challenged me to a 1 on 1 on the same speedball course I went up the middle and he tried to flank. I pinned him behind a bunker and covered my movement until I was about 20 ft from him. He then proceeds to ramp and pin me, firing a few 3rd bursts at a time to keep my head down. After the 2nd burst, I realize that he is a really horrible shot and pop my head around the bunker. he fires blindly after my face, never getting close. His problem is that he pops his head out at predictable intervals. Thus after wasting a few shots to gauge where he is going to be, I stutter my firing and gog him the next time he puts his head out. Round over. He whines and complains that he only accepted my 1 on 1 as a show of good faith. The refs tell him to can it as we are playing woodsball next and they think that my A5 will, again, put him and his ego into the DZ. Therefor, I did. 3 more times that day. I can't stand wipers, trash-talkers and whiners. They bring the newer players moral down to the point that they don't even want to play at our field anymore.

Re: Your Favorite Kill I agree 100% with you Sectionate. Whiners are just no fun, and they only make the sport look bad. My favorite kill was just a few weeks ago, I was playing on my team's home field, you know just spending the day, getting in some practice. Now please note that at my home field, I know all the refs by name, and the park manager is on my sister team. You could say that we are buds. So here I am in the gully (big woodsball field) flanking to the right with my captain and our medium rifle man. Opposing us was some speedballer, his girlfriend, and another dude from a private party (we'll call him camopants for reference purposes). My captain and medium rifileman move forward and take out the speedballer. He leaves the game. The girlfriend and camopants take out my captain and my MR. I'm left alone and in the rear. I'm thinking to myself, I've got to get the heck out of here, I'm going to get annihilated. But something tells me to stay and hold my ground. So I did. I let loose a fury of paint on the girlfriend, luckily I get her in the chest. She leaves the game. Now its me on camopants, he shoots at me, I get away, but he calls paintcheck, the ref checks me and says I'm clean. Camopants whines that I should be out. As he is doing so I let loose some more paint. He gets splattered from the goggles down to this stomach. With that, I became the victor. Afterwards, camopants complained to my face and accused me of wiping. I advised him just because I know the refs, does not mean that I wiped. I had the ref check me and he stated I was clean, everyone on the field knew I was clean. Another member from camopant's party told him to be quiet, I was clean and that he should just accept he got beat by a girl. I felt good about my kills, but I was still irritated that someone would think that I would cheat. It put a sour taste in my mouth for the rest of the day.

| Re: Your Favorite Kill I agree with ya'll both. Whiners, whipers, trash talkers and everything else are just a pain. Another favorite of mine was when I was at a new field all by myself with my Phantom. We were on a speedball field and I was in the back right corner spotting for a speedball player in front of me. It was down to me and him vs about four on the OpFor. They got him out and every one thought the game was over till a reff spotted me. He asked me if I was gonna quite and I told him what I thought of that. Game continued. One guy was moving up right side of the field shooting at me while two guys were on the left shooting at me. My bunker was circular so no matter which side I was, I was taking fire. I heard one of the guys on my left shout "Go, go, go!" as I saw the other one make a run for it. About twenty feet away, I popped a round off and took him out. The guy on the right moved up and took me out from point blank. I held off three guys for about five minutes while in a corner. Afterwards, the guy I shot complimented me on my shooting at the guy that took me out told me good game for holding him off. Felt good to get compliments from speedball guys when I was using my Phantom. The Joker

Re: Your Favorite Kill alright so i was at the big game of the year at my local feild, and i was on the red side. so we got word from one of the refs that yellow was about to reinsert a huge force of about 30 men at a castle about 400 ft in the woods to my left so me and a squad of about 8 others were dispatched by the commander to drop in and wait for them to come so basicaly me and 7 other guys our in a semi circle around the bunker _ (+ + is them (_ is us so anyways the ref does the count down for reinsertation and they all at once run next to meand 2 other guys, so we let them make it up about 20 feet behind us then we lit them up, probably one of the funnest kill(s) i have had

Re: Your Favorite Kill During an elimination game this summer the opfor decided that the key to victory was a heavy defense of thier base. The base consisted of a 12' tower and a large sandbag emplacement. We bogged down at the perimeter and the guy in the foxhole was was slowly picking apart the team with instructions from the tower look out. Myself and another teammate were sent out on a deep flank to try to break through on what appeared to be thier weak side. as we approached my teammate was suddenly taken out by a hidden sentry. I was able to return fire and take him out as well as his partner hidden a little further up the trail. After that I was free to move up the side uninhibited inside of thier perimeter. About 50' away I could see the foxhole and from my vantage point I could see the very top of the defenders head from above the sandbags. The ref called the 1 minute warning so I began a low crawl through the brush to the edge of the base clearing. I could hear the guy in the bunker talking up his near invincibility in the foxhole. I got a call over the radio that the add count was even and if we couldn't get another kill it would be a tie. I knew that a bold move was in order and as the ref counted down the seconds I waited. At 10 seconds the defenders started to relax. At 5 seconds I made my break. I jumped up and bolted towards the foxhole. If I could take him out we would win the game and it would be a big morale booster to boot. I came around between the foxhole and the tower before anyone knew what was going on. As soon as I cleared the enterance to the foxhole I popped off one shot, hitting the enemy square in the mask and was able to get off around five shots at the dude in the tower before the ref called time. In the confusion I was shot at point blank range in the thigh (still got the ring after 4 months) but the ref pointed out that it was after the whistle blew. We won the game, I got a battle scar and tons of compliments on the boldness of the move. On the down side the kid (14 y.o.) was so upset he went to his friends car and cried. I still don't understand what that was about.

Re: Your Favorite Kill Me and three buddies were playing 2 on 2. The field was sort of like a speedball field, about the same size, just different. At the start of the first game, I sat at the back bunker and watched. My "enemy" did the same. I noticed that he did not see me, but instead was firing at my teammate. He would pop his head up, then down, but in the same spot. I also noticed his marker doing the same between shots. I waited for his head to drop and I took a shot and hit his hopper (we were not playing gun elimination). His head came up and he took one in the mask the next shot. I was amazed at myself for doing this. Later on, however, he got me back. Again, I was at the back bunker, but on the left side, covering for my teammate. Now, the "enemy" just happened to be the same size as the ref, and they just happened to be wearing the same colors (it was a "just for fun" game). I saw a figure coming up on my left. Thinking it was the ref, I paid no attention, until he asked me to surrender. Me being stubborn, I turned to fire, only to have his response trigger unload from my left elbow to my mask.
