Smile BT Omega vs 98 custom

I think im leaning towards the BT Omega because i can score it for 80$
The thing is i currently have a 98 custom (its sorta ruff) and i could sell it for 100$ and go buy that BT Omega. Is that worth it? The BT omega comes with a co2 tank and hopper. I aready got a mask and hpa.

So to sum it up. 98 Custom or BT Omega? ( i would make 20$ or so too )

Re: BT Omega vs 98 custom

aaahhhhhh, the age old question of these two beasts of the paintball industry. and the answer, is still the same. the 98 custom is the superior marker.

Re: BT Omega vs 98 custom

Tippmann's customer service blows away BT's. That is enough to keep the Tippmann. If you like the marker, why not look for a used Alpha Black?

Re: BT Omega vs 98 custom

I would look for a used Slavo or Alpha Black (picked my AB basic up for $50 on craigslist)

wow I just looked at their schematics and yeah they are exactly the same internally. pretty sad imo.

If you look at the BT4 / Delta / Delta Eliite, they are a 98 with an A5 thread barrel adaptor. only other difference is it can take the Rip Clip.

Re: BT Omega vs 98 custom

the salvo proves to be the finest example of the 98's internals. it blows any BT gun in its price range out of the water, and that water wont stop the salvo anyway.
