Q-loader: n. The brand-name of an alternative form of hopper that uses spring tension to force-feed paintballs into the paintgun. It is capable of feeding very quickly, but has a limited capacity and is difficult to reload. A Q-loader cannot use a standard hopper.

Quick disconnect: n. An air fitting comprised of two pieces that fit together with an airtight seal but which can be disconnected readily. Its purpose is to allow the player to rapidly separate the paintgun from a remote propellant source. The quick disconnect is often used in conjunction with some form of bleed valve.
