Tested it tonight.... well.... I got some problems...

-the trigger was too tight in the grip so i had to force the trigger to bend the plastic grip to be able to fire.
solved by filed it a bit.

-the hammer wasn't engaging when I fired, so i had to crank it again after each shot. in addition to this, the O-ring of my hammer was loose, so the crono went between 195 and 297 fps (changed the O-ring and it was constent but still wasn't able to engage the hammer after a shot.)
solved by removing the spacer just under the hammer (it was broked after few shots anyway) and I will polish the internal because I think it is too rough for the hammer even with a lot of oil.

-I was't able to get the velocity higher than 256 fps. Don't ask me why, I don't know. I will solve it an other day.

-the paintballs blocked a few times, but it's only because some of my paintballs wasn't really round.

-the safety don't work

-the plastic grip is too soft, so it twist when you use your tank as a stock.

But over all, I'm glad I received it, it shoot... And I hope the triger designed for this kit will solve some problems. I probably won't use the kit until I'll get the new trigger, it will depend on if I can gat the velocity to 275-280fps.

Sorry for my English, I'm trying to get better. :S

still having problems with your safety? I was never able to get mine to work right. I was working with Omar from RAP4 on these - he was very helpful, sent me a new grip assembly since my first version came with a plastic trigger spacer/pin that broke on the initial assembly (replaced by 2 slightly differnt looking trigger pins now it seems). I still haven't been able to get my safety to work. It seems that the thick portion of the safety mechanism isnt thick enough to catch the trigger correctly when engages, and if you pull the trigger hard enough the marker will fire with safety on.

Re: Tacamo Mag Conversion

I haven't had any issues with the safety and the assembly was easy. My only problems occur when a paintball gets stuck in the mag. I have been using Marbles and Draxxus Blaze, and occasionally a soft or dimpled ball will catch.

It is also annoying as hell when I need to reload the mags during a game, but you get used to it. In all honesty, I bought this for the DMags, which seem to be taking forever.

Any guesses to when the dmags are released. December? January? February? So far, Rap4 is keeping it on the hush. Why no preorders? I have a feeling the release may be pushed back. In that case, I might switch to a hopper-fed marker until those puppies hit the market.

Re: Tacamo Mag Conversion

I was wondering if they have all the bugs worked out of this kit yet? I'm wanting to order one, but I want to know it will work once I assemble it. So any updates?

Re: Tacamo Mag Conversion

My safety wasn't even able to fit into the grip at all. So i left it uninstalled for now.

Re: Tacamo Mag Conversion

Not too worried about the safety. Any problems with it feeding paint or chopping it? Like the paintballs busting in the mag?

Re: Tacamo Mag Conversion

I had a little problem with the trigger, so it was hard to shoot. I solved it by filing it.

In my case, no chop.
