Its not the number of markers you own it is what you have done to make them your own style of marker.

Re: Back pack Or boxmag feed system

i dont want to deal with the nautilus drive system and i want to make my own for the the fact that i have all the materials needed. tho when i so my tacamo mag kit i might just break down and buy the rap4 box mag. im not a 100% on using rap4 stuff tho.

What do you have in mind to force rounds from a backpack through a tube to the breach?

I'm not dissing, I am genuinely curious...

Re: Back pack Or boxmag feed system

well for the back pack i was thinking of going the usual route or i found this one idea that i could use. it takes and puts two belts in the back pack, one grabs balls and the other pushes balls down the tube. they would have to be in sync with each other. just like the one that grabs the balls would have prong type paddles and the pusher would have soft rubber that would shove the paint through the tube. it is in theory do-able. just have to figure out how to sync it with the gun. and then how to run the two belts.

for the box mag i would do the usual reloader b mod. cut it and make it fit inside of a box. then take and find a way to mount a cut down mag to the box. but this would of course have to be a super strong way. then run a tube that would line up to the pickup in the mag well and then to the reloader that is hacked up.

Re: Back pack Or boxmag feed system

funky diver did a "feed ruck" as he called it.. i think there was some kind of a how to on one of the other OG sites or perhaps milsimempire. He did it with a halo and a warp if I remember correctly.

I was thinking of doing it with two halos or one halo with two sets of eyes but then I had an epiphany and thought "RF Chip"

During the schoolyear (when i'm away from my gear) I have been thinking about that feed ruck on and off and so far the best solution that I have come up with is loader (e.g. halo) + warp (or use pulse to build a warp)

Re: Back pack Or boxmag feed system

thats an idea. this is still just the planning process. i should be picking up a halo too on thursday for 30 bucks. spose to be brand new. that will get me by for now. then i wont have to shake and bake all the time.

Re: Back pack Or boxmag feed system

I hacked a realoder B and rerouted the feedline to have it mounted on the side of my ion:

worked like a charm until I switched for the XE bolt. Later the motor died so i switched it for a motor from a halo. The motor dying could either be because the realoder is really old and banged up or then pushing the balls up put too much stress on it.
Now when i have it on my epiphany (the ion's board died also) with a firebolt i had to move the realoder up about halfway to have it react to the shots. The motor is still working nicely but only have half the way to push the balls as the old motor had.

Re: Back pack Or boxmag feed system

the problem there is that every real sharp corner like the 180, and then the 90 degree one both add a lot of resistance to the paint and that makes the motor go out cuz you have to push the paint with more force. if you use a less sharp turns in the line even if it is longer it is easier on both the paint and the motor
