Anyone done this before?

I really like the look of the cyclone hopper, just the hopper part though. Has anyone ever just hooked it up to something like a PVC reducer and put it on the stock hopper acceptor? If anyone has a cyclone, how big is the opening on the bottom?

The bottom of the Cyclone hopper measures 2 1/4".. Never seen one reduced down. Might be easy enough but you will need to use some sort of ramp to guide the balls into the reduced hole.

Re: Anyone done this before?

Well I don't have $60 to drop on a hopper that I don't really need... I can fire like 10-15bps with just my fingers and a mech double trig. My gravity hopper never lets me down haha... never breaks, never jams. :P This little guy, on the other hand, only costs like $2...

Re: Anyone done this before?

Yea i figured it was just a money issue.
Other than just fine tuning it to feed as you need it should work just fine.

I hear ya on the cash tho. Im going to be getting a 98c in the mail shortly and would love a cyclone on it but prolly will just run my little 50 round pump hopper. I want to make a nice sleek CQB 98.

Niiice haha. The only "real" money i've dropped on my gun was a new barrel and a remote line... I'm thinking about getting an egrip in the future, but that's waaaay down the road.
