I recently picked up a JT Proteus mask for $20 and was surprised on how good it actually was. It is very low profile and I can easily aim down the sight of my X7 with the G36 folding stock and use my red dot with no riser or offset rail. Plus I ordered a JT Sports Comm Kit off eBay for $5 that I'm waiting on to be delivered.

I don't know a thing about it but for $5 w/shipping, what the heck, right?

If it wasnt for the color I'd love it, but I'll end up painting it. I'm into milsim and blue.. well.. blue isn't camo.

So whadda think of the deal fellas? I haven't seen this kind of mask before so feel free to drop some knowledge. And if you have any experience with the Comm Kit, let me know.

Lol, maybe that's why I haven't seen any before. Oh well I'm not scared of it. I'm just kinda po'd cause thats where the Comm Kit goes.

The $5 wasn't for another mask, but for earphones designed to fit the Proteus. Hopefully they are compatable with my 2 way radio. They fit right where the area of concern is.

After painting it and putting on the Comm Kit. Here it is. I love the hands free communication. Now all I want to do is swap out the blue lens with an amber or a smoke.
