| Re: Just a question. Personally I run a full cover Flex 8 mask. To be honest I go prepared to encounter the nastiest vegetation a field may have to offer, so having almost my whole body covered is an advantage their. As for feeling overheated I have played on some of the hottest days we have had here and have not noticed to much. In the end I think it's really personal preference and needs. If you feel comfortable with your full cover mask there is no problem with that. Really you don't know till you put it through a full day of play.

| Re: Just a question. I've got a Flex 8 Head Shield. I dont run it often. If I know I am gonna be in close contact in a game I will wear it over my Profiler. First game I did with it was a night/zombie game and I was a zombie. Head shot only to kill us. I was very greatful I had gotten the Head Shield that evening before the game. EDIT: I like to keep both mask with me at games incase one will work out better for the situation over the other.

| Re: Just a question. Well if playing in a close quarters environment I would opt for a full coverage mask. Hurts like hell to get a shot at 20ft to the back of the noggin!! But for open field woodsball, I would go for the lightest and least concealing mask. It helps when trying to listen out for attackers sneaking up and it just seems easier to play in and keep cool in.. |

| Re: Just a question. Real men and pro's use full FACE (not head) masks So to be cool DONT buy a full head mask just kidding about the being cool / real men If by full head mask you mean like a dirt bike helmet style (of course not a helmet) Quote:
I guess this is true. If you prefer to see less out of the goggles or prefer to or not to have gogs that fog up then that statement is true. I suggest, if possible to try on different masks, maybe your local shop or field will allow you to do so. Some masks fit peoples heads better then others. Some people where eye glasses under their mask which with some masks is very comfortable. |
