Bt Delta anyone?

Soo I'm in the need for a new toy. Ever since i got rid of my 98c ive been wanting another gun.

It was a toss up between the procject salvo or the delta.
I really dig what the delta looks like and i want the ripclip

Does anyone own a delta if so how does she run?

Re: Bt Delta anyone?

Several of the members from our group currentl have BT DELTA's but they are not happy with them. They especially complain about the rip clip not responding/feed problems. On the other hand, all the guys in the group that have Tippmann are experiencing great performance and no malfunctions during play!

Re: Bt Delta anyone?

I would go for the BT Delta Elite if you are looking at that route. Comes with the Rip Clip, Egrip, and Apex.

YouTube - BT Delta Elite Paintball Gun Review and Demo

It is basically a hybrid 98/A5. So you should already be familiar with performance characteristics since you had a 98 in the past. Should be very reliable.

I thought there was an update to the Rip Clip that enhanced the microphone performance so it could better feed the Delta after they found that problem..?

Re: Bt Delta anyone?

I have a BT Delta, and I've never had a single problem with it. As said above it's a hybrid between the Tippmann 98 and A5. So, It should give you the rock solid dependability that Tippmanns are known for....I know mine does. And just so you know, all 98c internals are compatible with them, except the ball detent, and powertube.

I also have a Rip Clip and it's never once had any responding, feeding, or chopping issue's. The only times I can recall having any problems with it, Is when I forgot to turn it on.

Overall, I think you would be pleased with your purchase of a Delta.

Re: Bt Delta anyone?

Sweet deal thanks for the information Midnight. I plan on getting the delta basic, and then upgrading to the ripclip and e-grip with ape board. How do I mount a sight on it?

These two rails will let you mount a red dot sight on the Delta.

Re: Bt Delta anyone?

I have a bt delta as a backup... my younger brother uses it.

Only thing to note that it is a bit heavier than a 98, but its not a problem, my brother is 16 as has no troubles useing it.

Even with the stock barrel only being 10 inch it shoots amazingly straight, i have no intentions to upgrade the barrel whatsoever.

Cleaning is ALOT easier than the 98, a few screws to remove the bodykit, and the trigger is held on by two screws.

Ive also noticed that a standard bt delta trigger feels alot smoother and able to shoot faster than a standard 98 trigger, no proof there, just what it feels like to me.

The delta has also never had any chops or anything, a pleasure to play with and the sliding stock ROCKS!!!!
