Routing ASA line through foregrip or straight from powertube?

Hey, as the title, I'm wondering what the name of some kind of adapter is that will allow me to either:

Route the ASA line down through the foregrip (internally), following what seems to be a path milled specifically for it.

or/

Terminate in the ASA thread right on the hole by the powertube, to connect remote hose there.

This is on a 98c platinum, I know it has a slightly different valve arrangement than the older 98s.

Here is the part to route it right through the fore grip.
You would just screw the remote line into the adapter as you on the bottom of the gun.

Re: Routing ASA line through foregrip or straight from powertube?

Ha! I literally just found that seconds before you replied!

But thanks, because I did have a couple of questions sparked by it...

1) Does it fit a 98 platinum? I thought they had different sized threads?

2) My remote hose has a quick disconnect, how would I be able to press the button (to put it in eve, never mind take it out) with the adapter hidden inside the foregrip like that?

Thanks!

As to the threads, they should be the same size.
For the disconnect you could drill a hole in the gun and us an allen wrench or even a metal coat hanger to press the button.

Lol, for a "slow disconnect".

Hmm okay, I may have to rethink the plan slightly.

Re: Routing ASA line through foregrip or straight from powertube?

it does NOT fit the plat. there is NO way of getting it rerouted tot he front grip on the plat.

there is a VA for the plat. but it looks slightly different and does NOT go through the front grip

will look like this:

Re: Routing ASA line through foregrip or straight from powertube?

Okay, thanks for the clarification devlin.

Is there any way to have the tank adapter right up where the ASA line comes out as stock?

I just don't like having the line there and adapter underneath grip, it seems needless if the tank isn't on the marker.

Thanks,

Re: Routing ASA line through foregrip or straight from powertube?

to clarify on my previous post-> there is NO way of getting it rerouted to the front grip WItHOut getting the older style valve.

if you look at the pic in my prevous post you can see the tank adapter. It has normal ASA threads and in that picture a regulator is screwed in instead of a tank.

it looks like this:

Re: Routing ASA line through foregrip or straight from powertube?

So with that adapter I'd be able to screw in the male end of the QD on my remote line?

What's it called/where can I get it? I can't find it searching for "Tippmann 98 platinum ASA tank adapter".

Re: Routing ASA line through foregrip or straight from powertube?

its a vertical adapter. It has standard ASA threads so the same plug that you screw into your asa now for your remote line will fit.

you can google "tippmann 98 platinum vertical adapter" to find several places that sell them. Personally I am a fan of tippmannparts.com but you can also find it here for instance:
