Tech T Zero Kick Hammer

Thinking about this for my 98, any positive or negative thoughts on that?

Re: Tech T Zero Kick Hammer

I have one on my 98 Platinum ACT and I didn't really notice a difference between it and the stock hammer. Sure you can shoot faster because the hammer moves twice as fast but that's all I really noticed. I didn't notice a difference between the kick of this hammer and the stock hammer and if there was a difference it would've been really small.
For $55 I would pass and buy something else, I just don't think it was worth it.

Re: Tech T Zero Kick Hammer

The ZKH also has problems when you do other upgrades, it works OK by itself. But do other internal upgrades and you'll find yourself taking out the lighter hammer.

Anytime someone is having issues and they list a ZKH in the upgrade list I always recommend taking that out. And it usually fixes the issue.

Pass on it and get something else.

Re: Tech T Zero Kick Hammer

Alright, thanks a lot guys. Can you point me in a better direction on mods and/or new gear? I have a 98 pro platinum ACT, A revvy hopper which I really don't feel the need to upgrade because it gets the job done, a VForce Profiler whioh I love but give me some ideas if there is another you prefer, and a lapco bigshot 12' with APEX.

Re: Tech T Zero Kick Hammer

Dude they should make a MKH (max kick hammer) haha....i like the kick feeling to my markers. Think of a R/T with just a little more kick to it...make it like playing BFBC2 over MW2 hahaha

Re: Tech T Zero Kick Hammer

Maybe look into air through stocks if you run a remote - always looked at those but never got one. Seem cool tho. Either that or a good vest setup.
Or heck....spend that 60bucks on a R/T - you have the hopper for it!

Re: Tech T Zero Kick Hammer

How reliable is the RT? I tend to gravitate towards simple when it comes to ROF/BPS. I hate electros because of the problems they have given me. I also feel my ROF is decent enough for the woodsball I do. I am thinking about getting either a dogleg airthru or a t2w type airthru.

Re: Tech T Zero Kick Hammer

R/Ts are great. I ran one and liked it just as much if not more than my Egrip.
And they are cheaper!
